What is Teledentistry?

We define Teledentistry as the delivery of diagnostic, preventive, counseling, therapy, patient education, professional consultant or supervision of a patients oral health.

We enable a Teledentistry as a Service platform to benefit patients, providers, and payers.

Patient

Patients use the patent pending Plaque Detector to take three initial pictures for review. Dentists may also prescribe the hardware device to get a clinical evaluation of their plaque.  Information and education about oral health is delivered via engaging media.

The American Dental Association believes that “simple low cost measures, educating families about taking charge of their own oral health, and early screening, diagnosis and treatment will pay for themselves many times over.

Provider

We enable the Dentist with a Portal to access their patient image library.

Initial exams and follow ups may be reimbursable by Medicaid in your state under Store and Forward billing codes.

Dentists are able to copy and paste images to existing EHR systems to enhance patient documentation.

Payer

There is universal agreement that tooth decay is 90 - 100% preventable.

Teledentistry, will be included in the ADA’s Code on Dental Procedures and Nomenclature (CDT Code) for the first time in 2018.

The Surgeon General study indicates that for every $1 spent on prevention, $50 is saved in emergency treatments and restoration.
